Confirm the physical jail location, visitation rules, mail destination, and the correct records destination by phone before making a trip or sending a request.

Use the route that fits the question. A city arrest may begin with Crane Police, but the booking destination for a particular event must be confirmed with the agency. A requested booking image should go to the agency that holds it, with the sheriff as the first county contact. Do not assume a clerk fee schedule is a booking-photo fee. Use the current written request form and ask for any estimate in writing.
